MARKETPLACE PLANS

The Health Insurance Shoppe partners with top-rated insurance carriers available through The Health Insurance Marketplace, providing plans that cover essential health benefits and pre-existing medical conditions.  Carriers can offer their plans on the Marketplace or through direct enrollment, bypassing the Marketplace when there is no eligibility for a premium tax credit or when a third party is not needed to manage your enrollment.

Essential health benefits include 100% coverage for Preventive Care (for adults and children), Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Maternity Services, and Fertility Treatment, all without annual or lifetime benefit limits.​

Enrollment in coverage is not year round and limited to the Annual Enrollment Period or when there is a Qualifying Life Event (QLE) that opens up a Special Enrollment Period (SEP).

2025

Annual Enrollment Period

(11/1/24-1/15/2025)
 
From November 1st to December 15th each year, individuals and families can apply for a new plan of insurance with a first of the year effective date.   Enrollment between December 16th - January 15th, 2025 will provide a February 1st effective date.
