The Health Insurance Shoppe was established in 2009 for one purpose.  To service the local community with understanding their health insurance coverage options.  We fully understand that shopping for health insurance can be confusing, frustrating, and most importantly it can be a complicated process - especially now, with the The Affordable Care Act (ACA).  We'll work with you, one-on-one, to educate you on how health insurance works for yourself or business--from acquiring a plan to understanding your plans benefits, and to how it can be used to pay for medical expenses. In the end, we hope to educate you on the current marketplace and to provide you with the information needed to choose a plan of insurance that best meets your personal or business needs.

What makes The Health Insurance Shoppe unique is that we focus solely on health insurance. This is the only store of its kind in Illinois where you, the customer, can literally walk in and shop among the nation’s leading carriers for a health insurance product that best fits your individual, family or small business needs.

We recognize that no two individuals, families or businesses are alike – and the type and level of coverage needed will be equally unique. We will help you to obtain the best possible plan at the best possible price for the most comprehensive coverage.

Jordan began working in the individual/family and small group markets in 1998 right out of high school, and received his health insurance license prior to attending college at The University of Colorado at Boulder.   After college Jordan spent three years in Denver, Colorado with an "A" Rated insurance carrier, American Medical Security.

In 2009, Jordan established The Health Insurance Shoppe as a local community resource to where an individual or business owner could sit down one on one and discuss their health insurance options.  It was a time when insurance carriers could still decline coverage and exclude coverage on specific medical conditions, and there was no where to look to for help other than online or over the telephone.

Jordan resides in the northern suburbs with his wife and 3 children.
